Camping Chez Gendron ligt ten midden van de door zon overgoten wijngaarden van Blaye in het zuid-westen van Frankrijk, circa 60 km boven Bordeaux en 40 km ten zuiden van de Atlantsche zandstranden van Royan. Op circa 15 minuten van Mirambeau bij het dorpje St. Palais de Blaye.
Zonnebloemvelden, wijngaarden en bossen kenmerken dit afwisselend heuvellandschap, dat is gelegen op de grens van twee departementen. Gironde (bekend om zijn Bordeaux wijnen) en Charente Maritime (Cognac). De door de bossen omzoomde camping met zuidwestelijke en terrasvormige ligging biedt een schitterend uitzicht op de 5 km verderop gelegen rivier de Gironde.

Sunflower fields, vineyards and forests characterise this undulating landscape, which lies on the border of two departments, Gironde, famous for its bordeaux wines and Charente Maritime, for its cognac. Here, in the oldest wine producing area of France you can see how the wine is made using both traditional, old-fashioned methods along with the most modern techniques.
